Overview

Louise de Pileggi, a brilliant assistant district attorney, has always had a complicated relationship with her mother, Judith, whom she hasn’t seen in 15 years. When she is transferred to the small courthouse where Judith works as a court clerk, Louise becomes her mother’s boss. And worse still: they will have to work together on a case that seems trivial at first glance, but which will put their nerves on edge.
