The Doctor and the Dancer

Overview

Sima attempts suicide by taking an overdose of medication and, before the drugs take effect, informs Dr. Ali Behrouzi of what she has done. With the help of the police and the telecommunications department, Ali locates Sima’s address and manages to save her. Ali becomes attached to Sima, a cabaret dancer. Safdar, the café owner, assigns his men to keep an eye on the two of them. Ali marries Sima on the condition that she gives up her job at the café. However, with the help of one of Sima’s colleagues, a woman named Akhtar, Safdar attempts to turn Ali against Sima.
